Biography

Being born and raised in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii, I was extremely fortunate to grow up with the guidance from my parents, two brothers, and, our community. The values and traditions that I have today instilled honesty, respect and appreciation for the land, people and its culture. Raised on Hawaiian Home Lands with my family farming commercially, we went to the ocean to fish and to the mountains to hunt.  These opportunities allowed me to successfully experience living in a self-sufficient lifestyle.

I support the need for preservation and protection of what remaining assets we have for the future generations. I feel it is important for the future generations of Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians to remember and perpetuate Hawaiian traditions for the preservation of all the Hawaiian Islands.
